This article is about a character featured in the Pokémon anime who has not yet debuted in the English language dub. As such, their information may contain romanized Japanese names, rather than dub names. |
Dr. Akihabara (Japanese: アキハバラ博士 Dr. Akihabara) is a character of the day from the episode Electric Soldier Porygon, but because the seizures in the episode caused it to be banned worldwide, he has never appeared in the anime outside Japan. His last name is the name of a Japanese district famous for its electronics stores. His Japanese voice actor is 島田敏 Bin Shimada.
Since Dr. Akihabara has only appeared in one episode that has only aired once in the entire world, not much is known about this mysterious man. He has crazy blue hair and wears hypno goggles. He has created two Porygon, one prototype and one non-prototype. At the end of the seizure-inducing explosion, Akibahara's house is destroyed, along with his software, disabling him from entering the computer world.
