A coin, in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, is used in a variety of ways, from Energy Cards to Pokémon attacks.
Types of coins
A coin can be a real, monetary coin, or a special metal or cardboard disk with a Pokémon on it, or any small, flat object that has the same chance of landing on either of two sides when flipped. In Brazil, most people use a dice instead of a coin.
The standard coin given out with starter packs in the Diamond and Pearl series of cards is either gold or silver with a Poké Ball on one side and Munchlax on the other.
