Official TCG Coin from Diamond & Pearl Theme Decks.

A coin, in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, is used in a variety of ways, from Energy cards to Pokémon attacks.

Types of coins

A coin can be a real, monetary coin, or a special metal or cardboard disk with a Pokémon on it, or any small, flat object that has the same chance of landing on either of two sides when flipped. In some cases, the player may prefer to use a die rather than a coin.

The standard coin given out with starter packs in the Diamond & Pearl series of cards is either gold or silver with a Poké Ball on one side and Munchlax on the other.
