All Bulbapedia article titles not beginning with a number will have the first letter capitalized.  i.e., if you were to write ...pedia/gold_version in the browser bar, it would be interpreted as 'Gold version'.  Note that the v in 'version' would ''not'' be capitalized unless specified.  Apostrophes will work in the link, i.e. <nowiki>http://www.bulbagarden.net/pedia/Bulbagarden's_history</nowiki>, however, it's advisable to avoid using apostrophes as they can generally be avoided, as in the above case by titling it "History of Bulbagarden".

Title conventions in a Wiki community dictate that all proper nouns are capitalized regardless of their placement in a title, wheras all other words are not capitalized.  Therefore, in a title, Pikachu, Lt. Surge, and Vermillion City would all be capitalized, but a page entitled Electric_surge would not have the ''s'' in surge capitalized.  Book or game titles are considered proper nouns.

How to create a new page

In order to create a Bulbapedia article, you must type in the address bar the following: http://www.bulbagarden.net/pedia/

After the pedia/, you can type in the title of the page you would like to create. This, in turn, will bring you to that page, where it will say that there is no text. The "edit" tab may be pressed, at which time you may edit the page to add text.

Examples

For instance, to create a BulbaPedia page about DVs, I would type in my address bar: http://www.bulbagarden.net/pedia/DVs, and then proceed to edit that page.

For something with two words, for instance Pallet Town, it would be http://www.bulbagarden.net/pedia/Pallet_Town

Things to remember

All Bulbapedia article titles not beginning with a number will have the first letter capitalized. i.e., if you were to write ...pedia/gold_version in the browser bar, it would be interpreted as 'Gold version'. Note that the v in 'version' would not be capitalized unless specified. Apostrophes will work in the link, i.e. http://www.bulbagarden.net/pedia/Bulbagarden's_history. However, it's advisable to not use apostrophes as they can generally be avoided in the title, as in the above case by just titling it "History of Bulbagarden".

Therefore, in a title, Pikachu, Lt. Surge, and Vermillion City would all be capitalized, but a page entitled Electric_surge would not have the s in surge capitalized. Book or game titles are considered proper nouns.
