A Boarder (Japanese: ボーダー Boarder) is a type of Pokémon trainer that first debuted in the Generation II games. They are generally depicted as young men in winter clothing riding a snowboard.

They specialize in Ice-type Pokémon.

They have not appeared outside of Generation II games. In the Generation II games, the only place where the Boarder is located is in Pryce's Gym. There is data for them in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire; however, it is not used, and the art used for a Boarder is the same as a Youngster.
