Akira Komayama (Japanese: こまやま明(あきら) Komayama Akira) is a freelance artist who has been contributing illustrations to the Pokémon Trading Card Game since 2011.

Akira was born in 1981, spent eight years working as a designer and CG artist for a game company before going freelance in 2009, doing both illustration and graphic design. She currently resides in Tokyo.

Komayama has illustrated 225 cards, including reprints. Some examples of her work include:

• Eevee (Call of Legends reprint)
• Magby (Call of Legends reprint)
• Pansage (BW-P Promotional cards)
