Abigail (Japanese: アマノ Amano) is an old woman who first appeared in Cooking Up a Sweet Story. Her granddaughter is Theresa. Her English voice actress is Michele Knotz and her Japanese voice actress is 寺内よりえ Yorie Terauchi.

Her Pikachu, Sugar, ran away to try and find a way to toast Aspear Berries for a bake-off.

Theresa found Ash's Pikachu for a substitute for Sugar, unknowingly to Abigail. Abigail used Pikachu to fry the Aspear Berries. Abigail eventually challenged Ash to a battle using his Pikachu. Just before Aipom was about to hurt Pikachu for the first time, she threw in the towel and quit.

Finally, Ash was going to tell Abigail that who she thought was Sugar was really his Pikachu. However, she realized it a while ago. She then told the group that Sugar ran away because she pushed it to toast the berries perfectly.

Just after that, Team Rocket came and kidnapped Pikachu, Abigail inspired everyone to chase after the fast moving mecha Team Rocket was in. Sugar came back as a Raichu and rescued Pikachu. Sugar then helped Abigail make an amazing cake, using attacks like Thunderbolt and Focus Punch.
