8 is a Generation I Glitch Pokémon. It is encountered while attempting the Missingno. glitch.
Its appearance resembles a large box that takes up the space where the sprite should be. Its moves include Screech and Tackle, and it appears to be a Template:Type2 Pokémon. Its cry is the background music of the player's final battle with Gary.
Even when defeated, the glitch remains.
