Abra and the Psychic Showdown (Japanese: ケーシィ！ちょうのうりょくたいけつ！ Casey! Psychic Confrontation!) is the 22nd episode of the Pokémon anime. It was first broadcast in Japan on August 26, 1997 and in the United States on October 6, 1998.

• Uri Geller, a millionaire mentalist, unsuccessfully sued Nintendo in November 2000 over the appearance of the Pokémon Kadabra (whose Japanese name is Yungerer), which he claimed was "an unauthorized appropriation of his identity."
• The gag with Ash in his underwear would later have variations in the Orange Islands and Advanced Generation anime.
• Contrary to popular belief, it is possible the Silph Co. building made an appearance in the anime (It's the building where Ash is lured into a trap set by Team Rocket (as evidenced by the Warp Tile, since the only place in the games that have warp tiles are Silph, Co. and Saffron Gym").
