I'm currently working on the main "Move(s)" article, but am unsure whether to give it a plural or singular title. As of time I posted this, "Move" is currently at the top of the "Wanted Pages" list with 385 links, while "Moves" has 7 links. However, changing the link in the Project MoveDex notice would instantly put "Moves" at the top with 362 links and reduce the number of links to "Move" to 30.

Right now I'm leaning towards "Moves", and I'm sure fixing the links on those 30 pages wouldn't be too difficult, especially if BulbaBot is used. Woopert 05:34, 26 Mar 2005 (UTC)

I'm surprised Nautilator hasn't been recruited for the project, considering all the work he's currently doing to the articles... --Archaic 04:23, 9 May 2005 (UTC)

Projects like this, well, don't typically have assigned staff. The staff sort of self-assigns. Like in the cause of Nautilator--but I'm not complaining. --evkl 10:20, 9 May 2005 (UTC)

Move pages are protected

If you want to get people to help with the MoveDex project, then the pages shouldn't be protected. Anyway, the massive protection of pages seems to go against the idea that anyone should be able to edit articles. I think articles should only be protected if:

  1. It is an administration page, a policy page or similar, which if vandalized will give new Bulbapedians wrong ideas about the rules.
  2. The Main Page, which is likely to be the first page any visitor sees.
  3. A page which has been vandalized recently many times (For this reason, the Pikachu article in Wikipedia was protected for some time), or in the case of revert wars.
