Starting Over

Is it true that if it is the first time in nintendo wi-fi that you have to start over? User:Crazylegs24

What????--Midnight Blue 23:38, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
No it isn't, that'd be idiotic on Nintendo's part. (He was asking if you needed to start your game over if you connected to the wi-fi for the first time). The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 00:08, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
oh I see now, Sorry. Yea that would be bad.--Midnight Blue 03:09, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

An addition

Would it be of interest to add that if you change Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi or DSi XL during a games use the wifi data gets reset and you need to reregister all your Friend Codes? NitroBlaster96 02:44, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

3DS games don't use NWFC

The 3DS games use Nintendo Network instead. The information should be removed from here and placed on the NN article. Pikachu Bros. (talk) 17:54, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

Tense change for WFC pages

Due to the discontinuation of Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection ages ago, should articles such as Wi-Fi Plaza be changed to the past tense in order to reflect WFC's shutdown? While fully changing article tense might not be desirable, at least maybe a note of some sort should be added to the articles. This one obviously uses past tense since the service was shut down, but none of the pages related to it do, implying that the services are still usable. R.A. Hunter Blade 02:24, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
