After Team Rocket placed the key to the Poképod into the hands Wobbuffet after an attempt to steal Pikachu went wrong, Wobbuffet was captured by Gonith. Throughout the race to retrieve the key to free Pikachu, Officer Jenny was in hot pursuit for Gonith.
