Lavender Town

Lavender Town (Japanese: シオンタウン Shion Town) is located in northeast Kanto, just south of the Rock Tunnel. Sights in Lavender Town include the Pokémon Tower, haunted by ghosts in Generation I and later turned into a radio broadcasting station during Generation II. Lavender also boasts a Name Rater, who helps trainers nickname their Pokémon, the Lavender Volunteer Pokémon House, and the home of Mr. Fuji, a kindly man adored and respected by the residents of Lavender.

The town is known as the gravesite of Pokémon.

North of Lavender is Route 10 and the Rock Tunnel. West of the town is Route 8, south is Route 12 and the Silence Bridge.

In the anime, Lavender Town is the site of the Kanto Battle Dome.

The Name Rater runs a business from his own home. Free of Charge he will Change your Pokemon's nickname providing you are his/her OT.

Mr. Fuji

Mr.Fuji's generous nature is known throughout Kanto and the Sevii islands. He uses his humble yet spacies home to care for Abandoned Pokemon. In Generation III he is seen in his home caring for a Nidorino and a Psyduck, which suggest that they have both been abandoned by an abusive Pokemon Trainer/ Trainers. Three children reside in his home, it's unknown whether they live there or serve as help for Mr. Fuji. There is a Pokemon Fan Magazine on Mr.Fuji's desk which reads:

Monthly Grand Prize Drawing!. The application form is... Gone! It's Been clipped out. Someone must have applied already.
