Trivia
- This is the first time a human is transformed into a Pokémon. The concept would later be explored further in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and its adaptations.
- Pokemopolis has an episode entitled Pikachu Times Two in its episode guide following this episode. While the dodgemasters claim that it has only aired in New Zealand, there is no other evidence for the existance of the episode and so it is generally deemed to be a fake.
