| [[User:Clarky13/Clarky13's Theory of GSDS|GSDS]] is the theoretical remake of [[Pokémon Gold and Silver]], but on {{wp|Nintendo DS}}. It is believed by many fans of Pokémon that GSDS (not the theoretical game’s actual name) will be created. It will be based on the original [[Pokémon Gold and Silver]], taking place in [[Johto]] (and possibly [[Kanto]] accessible later in the game) with the starting area being in [[New Bark Town]]. The possibility of a new Gold and Silver remake started shortly after [[ Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen]], the remake of [[Red and Blue]], was released. Fans started thinking, if Nintendo introduced a remake of [[Red and Blue]], why not Gold and Silver. The rumor started to spread across the internet that they were planning to create a remake of Gold and Silver until finally Zel, at PokéCommunity created a perfect remake of Gold and Silver called [[Hack games|ShinyGold]].
