Pokémon (pronounced Pokémon Prism Star) are a card variant found in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. They were first introduced in the Ultra Prism expansion.
The Prism Star cards feature the symbol on the lower half of the card and next to the card title. The cards borders are black Unlike other card variations which are exclusive to Pokémon species cards, the symbol is also featured on several Supporter,Special Energy and Stadium cards.
Various areas of the card design have rainbow tinges added to it, such as the corners of the attack text box and character window.
Each card states the following game play condition just below the character window: You can’t have more than 1 card with the same name in your deck. If a card would go to the discard pile, put it in the Lost Zone instead.
