The Expedition Society has a base in Lively Town. They go on missions with the aim of completing the Pokémon Nexus. The Expedition Society consists of the player, their partner, Ampharos, Mawile, Jirachi, Buizel, Archen, Dedenne, Bunnelby, and Swirlix.
History
Personalities and characteristics
- Ampharos is the chief of the Expedition Society. He is prone to getting lost and is very careless when traveling. Ampharos is also laid-back. He calls himself the "Dashing Wanderer".
- Mawile is the archaeologist.
- Jirachi was born in Star Cave. He is a self-proclaimed genius capable of fixing the Pokémon Nexus. He sleeps most of the time. Jirachi sometimes attacks others in his sleep unwittingly.
- Buizel is the marine explorer.
- Archen is the aerial explorer.
- Dedenne transmitts signals between Exploration Society members.
- Bunnelby is the on-foot explorer.
- Swirlix is the steward and a glutton, so she eats much of the food she makes.
