Serebii.net or SPP (Serebii's Pokémon Page/Place) is a fan site created by Serebii in the spring of 1999 when many Pokémon sites were starting to appear, seemingly out of nowhere. The site first gained popularity as a GeoCities site, where it was also a member of the Articuno Island network.
It is a well known source for Anime, Nintendo gaming and TCG information. The site currently is one of the most up-to-date Pokémon websites on the Internet, updated almost on a daily basis.
Serebii.net is also a highly controversial site, as its webmaster has been frequently accused of stealing information and news from other sites without any credit being given where due.
