Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the June 1999 issue of CoroCoro comic. The English version of the card was available through the Pokémon League in December 2000.

Trivia

  • This card was the first promotional card to feature the aesthetic changes made to the cards in the Neo series, both in English and Japanese.
  • This card featured several errors:
    • "Length" was listed as "Height" on the card. Ironically, cards from the Generation IV era list the field as a height as standard.
    • A Water that should be before the first occurrence of "Energy" in the attack name isn't there.
    • The attack's damage is off-center.

Origin

Water Gun is a move in the Pokémon games that Marill can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Gold.
