Trivia
- Charge and Discharge would both later become moves, the former in Generation III and the latter in Generation IV. Electabuzz can learn Discharge, but not Charge.
- While Lt. Surge didn't use an Electabuzz in any of the games released prior to this card, he later used one when battled for the Thunder Badge in Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal.
