Pewter City (Japanese: ニビシティ Nibi City) is located in northwest Kanto, situated between Viridian Forest and Mt. Moon. Brock is the Pewter City Gym Leader who specializes in Rock-type Pokémon and yields the Stone Badge.

A popular attraction is the fossil museum and laboratory.
