Bill (Japanese: マサキ Masaki) is a Pokémon Researcher, widely regarded as an expert in many fields, who makes many appearances in both the games and the anime. Bill is most commonly found in his lighthouse, which is north of Cerulean City. He is most notable for his first entrance in the Generation I games Pokémon Green, Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Yellow Versions, his Pokémon storage system, and his posession of the Evolution Stones. Bill is also a major player in the Evolutions: Destinies game.

Red, Blue, and Yellow
Gold, Silver, and Crystal
In Pokémon Gold, Pokémon Silver, and Pokémon Crystal, Bill lives with his family in Goldenrod City. After he gets the Time Machine up and running in Ecruteak City, players can visit him for an Eevee.
Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald
While visiting Lanette, players can check one of her computers to find an E-mail from Bill. This is the only time that he is mentioned in the game.
Fire Red and Leaf Green
In Pokémon Fire Red and Pokémon Leaf Green, Bill is in the same area as in the original games. However, you meet up with Bill on Cinnabar Island after recieving the volcano badge from Blaine. From there, you go to the Sevii Islands and complete a side story.
