A coin is a type of currency used in the Pokémon games. Coins are used to play slot machines, card flip (in Generation II), or roulette (in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald) at the Game Corners, and can also be redeemed for prizes. A Coin Case is required to store these coins.

Coins can be bought in packs of 50 for $1000 or, starting in Generation II, in packs of 500 for $10000.
