(Japanese: セイヤ Seiya) is a character of the day who appeared in SS020. He is from Goldenrod City. Seiya challenged Ash to a Normal Class Pokémon World Championships battle, but his Meganium lost to Ash's Pikachu.

Soshinium (Japanese:ソシニウム Soshinium) is Seiya's only known Pokémon. It was used to battle Ash's Pikachu. Soshinium was able to gain the upper hand throughout the fight and land a Solar Beam, but was eventually defeated by Pikachu's Iron Tail.
Soshinium's known moves are Razor Leaf, Body Slam, and Solar Beam. | ||
