After Ash drops Misty's bag in the water, Misty fishes it out to find a Golduck's head stuck inside. Misty assumes that [[Misty's Psyduck|her Psyduck]] has evolved. Later on, however, when Misty attempts to return Golduck to its [[Poké Ball]], her Psyduck comes out instead, revealing that the Golduck is, in fact, wild, and simply enjoys being with women (as Misty puts it, "It's just a Pokémon version of [[Brock]]").
