In order to edit your userpage, you have to contribute a certain amount of times to the main content space to gain access. This is a rule that we've put into place after 2009 when you originally created your account. If you are struggling to find something, I would recommend checking out the Bulbapedia:Editor's Hub, Bulbapedia:Getting_started, or Category:Articles needing improvement.
