In Japan, this card was first available as an Unnumbered Promotional card and came with copies of official TCG Red, Green & Black Playmats, released through Pokémon Centers and a small number of toy shops from May 2, 1997. It was later reprinted in the Japanese Pokémon Web expansion using the e-Card Series layout. The card was never released in English, aside from appearing in the Pokémon Trading Card Game for the Game Boy Color.
