O'er the Rampardos we Watched (Japanese: クロガネジムふたたび！決戦ラムパルド！！ Return to Kurogane Gym! Decisive Match with Rampard!!) is the 18th episode of Diamond & Pearl. It first aired in Japan on February 1, 2007.

Ash has his rematch with Roark but now he has the evolved Rampardos to deal with as well as Geodude and Onix.

Synopsis

Ash comes up to Roark and challenges him. Dawn dressed up as a cheerleader and with the help of Piplup and Buneary, she cheered him on, giving him confidence.

Roark sent out his Onix. Ash sent out Pikachu. Pikachu used Quick Attack, but Onix quickly used Slam. Pikachu quickly dodged the attack and climbed onto Onix. Onix used Screech to get Pikachu off, but it failed. Onix tried to shake Pikachu off, but it held on tight. Pikachu quickly used Iron tail and hit Onix. Onix used Double Edge, but Ash told Pikachu to spin, avoiding the attack, and Pikachu used Iron Tail. Onix dodged the move. Onix Slammed Pikachu right down to the ground. Onix used Stealth Rock. Pikachu used Thunderbolt and destroyed every rock near it. It also hit Onix badly. Ash told Pikachu to use Iron Tail. Roark told Onix to use Screech, but before it got a chance, Onix was hit. Onix fainted. Roark sent out Geodude. Ash took Pikachu back. Aipom was sent out.

Meanwhile, Jessie, James, and Meowth were snooping around the back of the gym. Meowth used one of it's claws to open up the back door. They found an empty hallway and they were ready to start stealing things.

Back at the gym, Dawn, Buneary, and Piplup were cheering Aipom on. Croagunk noticed something and decided to check it out. Aipom used Swift on Geodude. It didn't hit it because Geodude used Rollout. Aipom used Double Team and Geodude hit the wrong copy. Aipom used Focus Punch, but Geodude Blocked the attack. Geodude used Seismic Toss and Rollout on Aipom, but it dodged the Rollout. Aipom used Focus punch again and knocked Geodude out. Finally, Roark sent out his best Pokémon: Rampardos. Aipom used Swift, but it didn't affect Rampardos at all. Rampardos used Headbutt, but before Aipom could dodge it, it was hit. Aipom had fainted. Ash sent out Pikachu again.

Team Rocked was still snooping around the Gym. They bumped into Croagunk along the way. Jessie, James, and Meowth started to get nervous. Croagunk started walking up to them and they stepped back.

Ash told Pikachu to use Thunderbolt, but Rampardos dodged and used Zen Headbutt. Pikachu tried to jump away, but was hurt by the Zen Headbutt. Pikachu used Quick Attack. Rampardos was about to use Headbutt, but Pikachu jumped away. Rampardos threw Pikachu off with its tail. Pikachu used Iron Tail and Rampardos used Zen Headbutt. Rampardos used Zen Headbutt one more time and Pikachu was out.

Croagunk was still scaring Team Rocket out of the gym. Jessie thought that Croagunk wanted to join their team, but Croagunk Poison Jabbed her. James and Meowth picked her up and ran away screaming.

Ash sent out Turtwig. Rampardos used Headbutt, but Turtwig rolled away. Rampardos was about to hit Turtwig with it's tail, but Turtwig Template:M2 it. Turtwig Tossed Rampardos away. Turtwig used Razor Leaf, but Rampardos burned them with Flamethrower. Rampardos used Head Smash. Turtwig used Razor Leaf, but was hit. Turtwig used Synthesis. Rampardos used Flamethrower. Turtwig quickly jumped away. Turtwig started to run while use Razor Leaf at the same time. Rampardos used Flamethrower, but Turtwig kept going. Rampardos used Zen Headbutt again, but Turtwig jumped away. Rampardos jumped, too, but missed Turtwig. Rampardos was hit with a super-strong Razor Leaf. Rampardos fainted. Ash won his first Sinnoh Gym badge!
