Kenzo (Japanese: ゲンゾウ Genzō) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime who appeared in Two Hits and a Miss. He is voiced by Jimmy Zoppi in English and 西村知道 Tomomichi Nishimura in Japanese.

Kenzo was the shihan of his own dojo. However the years were catching up to him and he needed to pass on the duty to someone else. A likely candidate was his granddaughter Chigusa. However, he didn't want her to be shihan because she was more concerned with her Pokémon's moves "looking pretty" rather than concentrating on battling, and wanted Ash to be his heir. Later on, Chigusa proved herself worthy and she became shihan of the dojo.
