An ominous shadow is creeping towards Sunyshore Tower, which upholds the lives of the people in Sunyshore City. Meanwhile Ash has a fierce battle at Sunyshore Gym.
In the Sunyshore Tower that supports the lives of the people of Sunyshore City, a mysterious shadow is creeping about. At that time, {{Ash}}'s fierce battle at [[Sunyshore Gym]] continues, but suddenly the electricity in the Gym goes out. According to [[Volkner]], it seems that an abnormality has occurred in Sunyshore Tower and the city's electricity source has been cut. They hurriedly follow Volkner towards Sunyshore Tower, and Sunyshore Tower has completely disappeared. Shocked, Ash and the others find some mysterious tire tracks. They follow them, and up ahead are the figures of [[[Team Rocket|three figures]] they recognize.
 
Suddenly, the lights inside the Gym go out. According to Volkner, something must have happened at the Sunyshore Tower, stopping the provision of electric power for the city.
 
The group hurriedly follows Volkner to the tower, only to discover that the entire tower has disappeared. The group is shocked, but then finds strange car tracks. When they follow them, they are faced with a familiar trio.
