==Rulings==
* A player may use Strange Timepiece to devolve a {{ct|Psychic}} Pokémon that had evolved from a non-Psychic-type Pokémon (eg. devolving a {{TCG ID|Paldea Evolved|Tinkaton ex|240}} that was evolved from a {{ct|Metal}} {{TCG|Tinkatuff}} all the way down to a {{TCG|Tinkatink}}).<ref name=JPFAQ>[https://www.pokemon-card.com/rules/faq/search.php?freeword=あやしい時計&regulation_faq_main_item1=all Q&A for あやしい時計 on the official Pokémon Card Game website (Japanese)]</ref>
* A player may use Strange Timepiece to devolve 1 of their damaged Psychic-type Pokémon such that the damage will cause the devolved Pokémon to be {{TCG|Knocked Out}}.<ref name=JPFAQ/>
* Any card effects that override normal Evolution rules (namely by allowing Pokémon to evolve on the same turn they are played) will override Strange Timepiece's ruling that prevents a Pokémon devolved with it from evolving again on the same turn. These include, but are not limited to, the following situations:<ref name=JPFAQ/>
** If a player uses Strange Timepiece to devolve their Psychic-type Pokémon in the Active Spot into {{TCG ID|Surging Sparks|Eevee|143}} with the "Boosted Evolution" {{TCG|Ability}}, that Eevee may evolve again on the same turn.
** If a player uses Strange Timepiece to devolve their Psychic-type {{TCG|Rabsca}} into a {{ct|Grass}} {{TCG|Rellor}}, and the {{TCG ID|Mega Evolution|Forest of Vitality|117}} Stadium is in play, Forest of Vitality makes it so that the Rellor may evolve again into a Grass-type Rabsca on the same turn.
** A player may use {{TCG|Technical Machine: Evolution}} to evolve their Benched Pokémon that was devolved using Strange Timepiece on the same turn.
* If a player uses {{TCG ID|Mega Evolution|Acerola's Mischief|113}} on 1 of their Psychic-type Pokémon and then devolves it with Strange Timepiece, the effect of Acerola's Mischief on that Pokémon will be considered lost.<ref name=JPFAQ/>
