{{DL}} is a shorthand for Direct Link.

This template generates a direct link to a specific section of a given page.

The displayed text will use the name of the section by default. Optionally, the displayed text can be customized.

Usage

{{DL|1|2|3}}

Template fields

  • field 1 (page) - The name of the page you want to link to. The page name is case sensitive except the first letter.
  • field 2 (section) - The name of the section you want to link to. This is what the link will appear as in text. The section name is fully case sensitive, including the first letter.
    • Note: If multiple sections have the same name, put a space and a number after the section name. For example, Raihan's page has multiple sections titled "Pokémon". To link to the first one, use "Pokémon". For the second one, use "Pokémon 2", for the third use "Pokémon 3", etc.
  • field 3 (display) (optional) - Customize the displayed text of the link.

Standard use

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a large {{DL|Pokémon Legends: Arceus|Overworld}}.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a large Overworld.

Customized display text

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity offers {{DL|Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity|Downloadable Content|DLC}} for purchase.

Multiple sections with the same name

Raihan's Pokémon in the {{DL|Raihan|Pokémon|core series games}}, {{DL|Raihan|Pokémon 2|Journeys anime series}}, and {{DL|Raihan|Pokémon 3|Twilight Wings}} are slightly different from each other.
