The '''Pokérap''' (sometimes stylized as '''PokéRAP''' or '''PokéRap''') is a series of songs that was made popular by {{aniseries|PTS}}. They are the English equivalent of the ''[[Can You Name All the Pokémon?]]'' songs.

The main purpose of the songs were to [[List of Pokémon|list all the known Pokémon]] of a specific generation. The [[Kanto Pokérap|original]] and [[Hoenn Pokérap]]s rhymed; the former rhymed many Pokémon names together and the latter mostly rhymed normal words together instead of Pokémon names. Fewer rhymes were made in the [[Pokérap GS]], however.

In the first two songs, the evolutionary lines would be jumbled up, and sung in different lines or verses. In the Hoenn Pokérap, this rule was not followed; many evolutionary lines were sung with two or three of their members back-to-back.

There are three Pokérap songs, one for each of the first three generations. Pokéraps were retired upon [[The Pokémon Company International]] succeeding [[4Kids Entertainment]] as the producers of the English-language [[dub]] of {{aniseries|PTS}}.

==Trivia==
* For the [[Pokémon in South Asia#Hungama TV|second Indian dub]] of the series, a [[Pokérap (Hindi song)|Hindi version]] of the Pokérap was used as the ending theme for the latter half of the first season. However, it bears no resemblance to the English Pokéraps.
* In the Japanese version of {{vg|Pokémon Trading Card Game}}, [[Tomoaki Imakuni|Imakuni?]] mentions that he sings [[Can You Name All the Pokémon?]]. In the English localization, he says that he sings the Pokérap.
