Welcome

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Diby esp!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here!PokeManiac102 01:08, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

Templates

instead of [[Pikachu]], you can use {{p|Pikachu}} to link straight to the article. -- MAGNEDETH 04:21, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Signature and Link templates

Hi, I noticed that you typed[[Explosion_(move)|Explosion]] on Talk:Azelf (Pokémon). Instead of typing that much text, why not use link templates and type {{m|Explosion}}? It gets you to the came place, using the same text, and it saves you a lot of typing. For a full list, check out the List of link templates or else. Also, according to our Signature policy, you signature must reflect you username in some way. Right now, it simply reads "Gabriel Rocha". Please change it. Happy editing!--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 20:58, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Yes, that signature works fine--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 22:25, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Hi

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot today. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of Userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Instead of making multiple edits, why not use the Preview button (Alt + Shift + P) located right next to the edit button to look at your page and see how it is coming? That way, your page can look great while staying within the required amount of edits. Just wait until tomorrow, ok? Thanks! ----freezingCOLD (page, talk) 21:26, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Hold on!

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace to much for now. Please do not edit your page any more for now, as it is hard on the server. Thank you, ----freezingCOLD (page, talk) 21:29, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

Don't worry, just read the previously mentioned Userspace policy and try not to make 15 edits in a row to your userpage. As well, make mainspace contributions too. And on the note of how I saw what you were editing... here.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 21:35, 22 January 2009 (UTC)

to answer your question

You could probably fish until both of your Pokémon KO, then get transported to a Center. MaverickNate 22:45, 13 July 2009 (UTC)

After further research, you are actually able to get there without any rods. That would be quite a predicament if it actually happened... That's the only way I thought of. Otherwise, don't do it. MaverickNate 03:02, 14 July 2009 (UTC)

Wii Number

I didn't list a Wii number because I don't want someone I don't know add me without my permission. AuroraErth 01:56, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
