Hello there! My real name is David, but in the internet I'm mainly known as (TheReal)Hayo so it's up to you how you call me! :)

Here in the Bulbapedia I will focus on aspects of the Pokémon games. I'd say that I have a quite wide experience with regards to collecting Pokémon in any region, owning at least one game of each generation. However, I know most about Johto and Sinnoh and the respective generations Generation II and Generation IV in which I rambled several hundred hours. I know, I wasted a lot of time :) Actually, I still do! O.O

I'm also always looking for minor mistakes everywhere. Another thing I want to do is to fill out the blanks concerning german Pokémon, item or place names.

Profile

I got infected by the Pokérus in my (early) childhood and it got even stronger in the years to follow. Recently, I discovered Bulbapedia and think it's useful like no other site in the internet, so I decided to contribute my own little knowledge to the community.

Because I'm a new guy here, I'm just trying to use some templates to understand the whole structure of MediaWiki. This user page is based on Nuva-kal's (User:Nuva-kal) because I really like the style and thought I could use it as a starting point.

My general philosophy against perfectionism when playing the games:

• "I don't use "uber" Pokemon, I don't calculate stat values, I don't use cheating devices, I don't breed my way to perfection and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are and treat them like individuals instead of brainless drones." (original signature spreaded by Tyranitar in the serebiiforums)

Pokémon Trivia

• I began playing Pokémon in late 2000, half a year before the release of the Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions in Europe.
• In then same year I started to collect and play the Pokémon Trading Card Game. I own the complete first generation in german (the Original releases, mainly Base Set, Jungle and Fossil), but gave up on this aspect of the Pokémon Franchise while collecting the second generation (Neo series).
• A few years after the release of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions (when I had spent hundreds of hours in Hoenn), I lost interest in the game series, but with the release of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions it came all back and I fell for the games once more.

Current Activity

I just got the US version of Pokémon Platinum, so I'm playing like crazy XD

• I still have 77 Pokémon to see and 184 to catch in Pokémon Platinum.
• I decided to create a really nice team, so I'm currently training these Pokémon in Platinum:

• Recently, I started (serious) shiny chaining and so I got my first shiny Pokémon ever (except for the Red Gyarados in Pokémon Silver of course). I really never had any luck with 'em... Well, it's time for a change! ;)
