Hey, I'm RikotheFoxKid! There's some information about me to the right and below!
Biography
It's been so long since I started Pokémon, but I still remember it pretty clearly.
I was like, four or five or something, and my sister (who was eight or nine) showed me some Pokémon cards we got from a friend from Japan. They were in Japanese, so we didn't know the names, but my sister thought Meowth was Pikachu... o_O
So we started watching the TV show, and we saw a commercial for Pokémon Pinball, which we wanted so bad! So one day, my dad comes home holding something behind his back. He shows it to us... a Game Boy Color (one of those see-through purple ones). He also got us Pokémon Blue because Pinball was sold out. And frankly, now I'm glad we got Blue instead. :D After that, my sister also got Red and Yellow.
Anyway, after going through all that, they eventually released Pokémon Gold and Silver! My sister got Gold version, which I loved to play. Unfortunately, one day, I accidentally deleted her file. So to stop that from happening again, my dad got me my own Game Boy Color (a blue one) and my mom got me Pokémon Silver. Then my sister grew out of it, and I got Pokémon Crystal. After finishing Crystal, I didn't play Pokémon for about a year.
Then, my friend got Pokémon Ruby, which caused me to get Sapphire, starting a never-ending rivalry of Pokémon (he gets FireRed, I get LeafGreen, he gets Pearl, I get Diamond...). Even if he gives up Pokémon, I am always able to successfully get him to pick it back up (which is what I did with Pearl and Platinum).
Then they released FireRed and LeafGreen and Emerald and Diamond and Pearl, and I still like Pokémon, and I'm in high school!
Most people wonder why I still play Pokémon. I play it because it's fun and I met most of my friends through it.

Tier Lists
I always take a look at the current Tier Lists, specifically the one for Super Smash Bros. I never completely follow a list, and just use it as a guideline.
I follow Smogon's Tier List (which is quite challenging with how much it changes) and generally only use Pokemon in the OU Tier. This is because I understand that some Pokemon are superior to others (unlike Super Smash Bros., where all the superiority may just be in people's heads).
I was trying to make my own list, but stopped because of the reaction of one of my friends when he saw the Brawl Tier List I made (he freaked out and went crazy because I put Ike, his favorite character, somewhere that wasn't High or above). Since then, I follow the quote that you should use your favorites.
I do still, however, accept the fact that some Pokémon are superior to others. This realization is probably the only reason I don't use Beedrill (and the fact that I don't have one in any version besides Crystal).
Also, I don't use any Pokémon in the Uber section, mainly because I see them as overly cheap. The only exception is if I'm playing against an NPC or if it's a friendly battle. The reason my Crystal Party has 3 Uber Pokémon is because I have yet to defeat Red.

- I am fourteen years old, but don't think I don't know as much as other people.
- I currently own every main series Pokémon game except for Red, Gold, FireRed, and Pearl.
- I have at one point owned each main series game except for Pearl.
- You can also find me on deviantART, the Pojo Forums, the Smash World Forum, SmashWiki and the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia. For each I go by RikotheFoxKid or RikoTheFoxKid.
- I also contribute to Wikipedia, Sonic News Network, Kingdom Hearts Wiki, Avatar Wikia, and Spongebob Wiki (although seldom with the latter two), but I have yet to make a Userpage on any of them (for Wikipedia, I lack an account).
- I am trying to make a video game.
- I RickRoll myself just to listen to the song. But since I see it coming, it's not really RickRolling.
- I have apiphobia (abnormal fear of bees and wasps). The reason for this is because when I was little, no one told me the only sting you when provoked. Even though I know better now, they still scare me.
- Despite my extreme fear of them (or perhaps BECAUSE of my extreme fear of them), I have never been stung.
- Ironically, two of my favorite Bug-Type Pokémon are Beedrill and Vespiquen.
- Ever since Generation III, I have had an affinity with the Timer Ball. This stems from the fact that in Pokémon Sapphire, I had forgotten to grab the Master Ball and as such could not use it. After spending about 3 months chasing after it, I finally captured Latias in a Timer Ball.
- Likewise, in Pokémon Platinum I caught Giratina with a Timer Ball.
- A friend of mine has an affinity with the Quick Ball. He caught Palkia at full health with it in Pokémon Platinum.
- Since I didn't have the Master Ball in Sapphire, I had to use Ultra Balls on Kyogre. I eventually got so mad at it that in a fit of rage I made it faint and then saved. Granted I never made that mistake again.
- My same friend who caught Palkia in a Quick Ball made Groudon faint and saved (he was new to Pokemon and thought you had to make it faint).
- We both later got the other versions and caught the respective Pokemon in a Master Ball.
- The same friend I mentioned above also has an affinity with Sheer Cold. Whenever he uses it with the Kyogre he caught in Sapphire, it almost always hits (I've only seen it miss twice).
- Likewise, I have an affinity with Fissure (although I'm not always as lucky).
- The friend I mentioned above and I usually are polar opposites when involving Pokemon:
- He got Ruby. I got Sapphire.
- He started with Treecko. I started with Mudkip.
- He got FireRed. I got LeafGreen.
- He started with Charmander. I started with Bulbasaur.
- He got Pearl. I got Diamond.
- He started with Chimchar. I started with Piplup.
- In the third versions we also did differing things.
- In Emerald he started with Torchic. I started with Mudkip.
- In Platinum he started with Turtwig. I started with Chimchar.
- I caught Scyther and evolved it into Scizor. He caught Steelix.
- I have an affinity with the Timer Ball. He has a an affinity with the Quick Ball.
- In Pokemon Emerald, I completed the Hoenn Dex.
- I started over, though. :P
- I have captured two legitimate Shiny Pokemon (not counting Red Gyarados). However, I currently own neither.
- In Pokemon Ruby, I caught a Green-eared Whismur, and evolved it into a purple Exploud. However, a friend of mine got mad at me and wiped my file but saved my rare Pokemon. It currently resides in his Pokemon FireRed (which he lost).
- In Pokemon LeafGreen, I caught a silver Slugma and evolved it into a Purple Magcargo. However, I traded it to Emerald and started over.
- In Pokemon LeafGreen, I caught Entei at full health in an Ultra Ball on my first try.
- That Entei is gone however; I also sent it to Emerald and started over.
- As you can see, I've done a lot of stupid stuff in Pokemon.
- The only six Pokemon I have truly trained to Level 100 by hand are Swampert, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Scizor, Gyarados, and Infernape. Every other one was either hacked or reached Level 100 by another method.
- This list will probably grow because I now have the Lucky Egg.
- Of the six, the only three I currently own are Scizor, Gyarados, and Infernape.
