Talk:Worry Seed (move)
What would happen if you used this on a sleeping pokemon? --Clouddyl 02:17, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
What if this move was used on Regigigas in a double battle? Would that cancel out Slow Start and replace it with Insomnia? If so, for how long, and once Insomnia wears off, do you still have to wait Slow Start's five turns?Fiyah 06:14, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
- I've seen it used on PBR and I can confirm that it gets rid of slow start. Pretty sure the ability change lasts until the end of the battle. --Pyritie 13:10, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
Other abilities that Worry Seed does not replace?
Long ago, I was using my Cleffa/Clefairy/Clefable against a wild Budew. My Pokémon had been poisoned, probably by Poison Point. The Budew used Worry Seed on my Pokémon, and I remember the poison was still prevented from acting.
In addition, I read somewhere that this move fails on Pokémon with Wonder Guard or Multitype, but I've yet to experiment it. --Johans 02:20, 27 September 2009 (UTC)
The article says that Worry Seed is a damage-dealing move, but the only effect that I see it causing is switching the opponent's Pokémon's ability to Insomnia. How is this damage-dealing?- unsigned comment from Tjuicet (talk • contribs)
- I'm not sure. And remember to sign your comments with tildes.--Smartkidhen (So I saw this sign that said Red Velvet • Team Galactic has plans) 20:56, 2 December 2009 (UTC)
- Fixed. —darklordtrom 21:28, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
In pokemon mystery dungeon this move doesn't get rid of the Pokemon's ability, it just makes them sleepless. It also means you can use rest to recover and still be awake, making worry seed a pointless move. SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 17:20, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Should we add that the only non grass type being able to learn this move is Golduck? Very strange thought.Meearaimeng 14:37, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- Well, technically, both Psyduck and Mew fit the criteria as well. That would need to be addressed in the trivia.--RiverAura 16:20, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
In the list mew can not learn it.Meearaimeng 10:15, 19 February 2011 (UTC)
