I recall something similar with Ash's gym battle against Jasmine's Steelix. When Cyndaquil tried to attack, Steelix used Sandstorm and moved around to protect itself...similar? ht14 19:45, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I also know that Bugsy's Scyther was able to use Swords Dance to create a wind-themed shield to block the Flamethrower attack from Ash's Cyndaquil. -Tyler53841 03:47, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
If that's the case, there's contradictions... was it mentioned in the anime that Ash's Pikachu, Monferno, and Fantina's Drifblim specifically used this tactic then? If not, there's no significance to this page... ht14 15:08, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
We have an article on Counter Shields but what about Dawn's Spin that has made so many variations. I think that's notable enough to make an article on. Beside's many of my budz wanted to learn more about that but couldn't find a place to read about it. -- Landfish7 18:23, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Shall we put a picture of Buizel's Water Gun variation as well as the Aqua Jet method? --Ripp145 20:13, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- One picture of Buizel should be enough, unless you feel it's absolutely necessary to have another. R.A. Hunter Blade 21:19, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- If you mean Ice Aqua Jet, then maybe. Depends on which is used more. R.A. Hunter Blade 21:41, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
didn't it do something like counter shield in Win,Loose or Drew? Should it be acced because of this? Lucariade 16:45, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
She it be noted that Dawn's Ambipom knows it, since Ash got the idea from watching Ambipom use the technique? JessiPlatinum 15:32, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
Skyla's Swanna's Aqua Ring?
When I was watching the Gym battle with Skyla, the way that Swanna used Aqua Ring to counter Thunderbolt and Electro Ball had the same look as Fantina's Drifblim's Countershield and used it to block the attacks. Could that be a Counter Shield?--Pokemon26 (talk) 17:11, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
