• The Theme Decks in Legendary Collection were the first to include a special 61st card, a random reverse-holographic card from the main set. Wizards did this with the e-series Theme Decks also.
• The non-holographic version of Charizard is exclusive to this deck, as it only appears as a holographic card in the main set.

Like other Theme Decks, Lava also includes a rulebook, damage counters, status counters, a custom coin and card list.
