Release information
This card was originally released in the Expedition Base Set, originating in the Base Expansion Pack, with artwork by "Big Mama" Tagawa. This print was used up to the EX Crystal Guardians expansion. Dual Ball was reclassified in Japan as an Item card during the HeartGold & SoulSilver Series, though the English Trainer cards did not adopt this naming convention until after this card's latest print. Both Unleashed and Call of Legends featured new artwork by Takashi Yamaguchi.
