Trivia

  • The Blastoise included in the "Pokémon Best Collection" CD has the Pikachu Records logo in place of an Expansion symbol.
  • A few copies of the card lack the word "Stage" in the text in the upper right explaining how to play the card.

Origin

Hydro Pump is a move in the Pokémon games that Blastoise can learn. This card's flavor text comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded. Rain Dance is also a move in the Pokémon games that Blastoise can learn, though it wasn't until the next generation that it was introduced.
