Tiny Woods is the introductory dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, being styled after the manner of early forested areas in other Pokémon games, such as Petalburg Woods. It is only three floors deep, and primarily contains Pokémon encountered early in regular Pokémon games, such as Wurmple and Pidgey.

Wild Pokémon cannot be recruited in this dungeon. There is no chance of finding a Monster House, a shop, or a buried item in this dungeon.

Glitches

  • When one stays on floor 3 of this dungeon for a while wind occurs at four points.
    • During the first point the message log says, "...Something's stirring."
    • During the second point the message log says, "... Something's approaching."
    • During the third point the message log says, "It's getting closer!"
    • During the fourth point the message log says, "It's right nearby! It's gusting hard!"
      • Next the message log comes up on the lower screen.
      • After you press the a button the 'End on Dungeon' box comes up.
        • It reads "'Pokémon' was blown out by an unseen force."
