We should call the green-eyed Jigglypuff in the anime shiny instead of green-eyed because shiny Jigglypuffs have green eyes. Dolphins_are_awesome! 02:09, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Here's a thought. Why not put the green eyed Jigglypuff trivia fact in the episode article itself? I mean, even Marina's Little Pink had green eyes similar to the Jigglypuff in Rough, Tough Jigglypuff. Putting that fact in the Jigglypuff Pokémon article isn't exactly fitting there. Romanization

I think that it's name could be derived from the English word "purring" referring to it singing abilities.

Super Smash Bros.

The paragraph under Other appearances and for Super Smash Bros. seems to be almost totally unrelated to Super Smash Bros. Perhaps there is a link I am unaware of. Even so, the paragraph has a few grammatical errors and could have been written better alltogether all throughout. Is anyone aware of what the author was trying to say? Also, if this paragraph does indeed have links to Super Smash Bros. melee as the title say, could anyone rewrite this in such a way as to indicate this link exists? Purdyaw

Inflation =/= Levitate

I don't really think that trivia about Jigglypuff not being able to levitate should be there. It's fairly obvious Jigglypuff can inflate itself giving it a small amount of lift, but it cannot levitate as it cannot stay up forever. Unlike Pokémon like Koffing or its evolution which use a gas to stay afloat Jigglypuff is not filled with a gas that lifts it off the ground, instead its air is used to keep it from running out of breath while singing. It's more like a balloon filled with oxygen rather than helium. Remember, just because a chicken is a bird and has wings doesn't mean it can fly. :D But if you wanna argue about it, do it here. Stop the editing war. (P.S. If you want to argue about Pokémon Snap, remember that Weepinbell and Victreebel also floated, Magneton weren't stuck together, you used pester balls to evolve a Grimer, and Koffing had a hold on Jigglypuff without any arms.) ^★Jo the Marten^★ ಠ_ಠ 03:40, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

• In all honesty, I don't think any such argument need ever be started after you so thoroughly shut down the notion; it is blatantly obvious that Jigglypuff is not a Pokémon given to the ability to keep off the ground, and so noting that it cannot do this seems utterly silly.
