did this episode mark the introduction of Steel-type Pokemon to the anime? I know Magnemite and Magneton are Steel, but do they count since their type was adjusted?

Even if Magnemite and Magneton are discounted due to being pure-Electric in Generation I, the answer to your question is "no". Scizor was introduced 12 episodes earlier. --Shiningpikablu252 18:17, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
