Skyler (Japanese: トビオ Tobio) is a character of the day in the Pokémon anime. He first appeared in The Big Balloon Blow-Up. His dream is to become a professional hot air balloon pilot.
He convinced Ash and his friends to participate in the Hot Air Balloon Race. His father, Tenma, lent Ash and friends a Pikachu shaped balloon. During the course of the race Team Rocket had sabotaged many of the competition's balloons and then cheated by using a rocket launcher on Ash's Noctowl and Pikachu.
