Trivia
- This card is the only Pokémon card with Rocket in its name in the EX Team Rocket Returns set that follows the normal TCG typing rules. This would remain the case even if its statistics suggested that it would be a Pokémon card.
- Rocket's Scyther ex is the only Pokémon-ex with Rocket in its name in the EX Team Rocket Returns set to be able to evolve further at the time of its release. However, if a future set were to revisit Team Rocket's theme and include a Rocket's Weavile ex that evolves from this card, this card would become the second such card in this set.
