Release information

This Tretta was awarded to players who managed to defeat Red Genesect in the Red Genesect Challenge Cup, one of many events present at the Pokémon Game Show, held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on August 17 and 18, 2013. The top 20 scorers earned a special 'WINNER' seal, with the top three scorers also earning a personalized certificate and gold-colored Pokémon Tretta Lab scanner. It was awarded again in the same manner at several later events. Details of these events are as follows:

  • Kids Games Festival in Summer venues, which were held at Molly Fantasy Naebo, Sapporo and You Me Town Takamatsu, Kagawa on August 31, 2013, followed by Aeon Mall Tomakomai, Hokkaido and Aeon Mall Yahatahigashi, Fukuoka on September 1, 2013.
  • Pokémon Center Pokémon Tretta events, which took place at every Pokémon Center in Japan between October 26, 2013 and November 4, 2013, with the exception of Pokémon Center Tokyo, which concluded on November 3, 2013.
  • Pokémon Card Game Battle Festa venues, which were held at Intex Osaka, Osaka on December 15, 2013, followed by the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on December 23, 2013.
  • At participating stores across Japan on January 4, 2014.

Players who did not manage to defeat Red Genesect at these additional events were instead awarded a Pikachu Tretta.

As with previous Challenge Cups, the player faces one of several possible teams of three Pokémon. These teams are detailed below.
