Rafe

Rafe (Japanese: リュウ Ryū) is a character from the 7th movie, Destiny Deoxys. He is the older brother of Audrey and Catherine. His English voice actor is Sebastian Arcelus.

Character

Rafe is a calm and collected guy who thinks before he acts. He is protective of his sisters and cares for his Pokémon like he does his friends.

History

Rafe is a skilled Pokémon trainer that came to LaRousse city with his twin sisters Catherine and Audrey to compete at the Battle Tower, while there he met Ash Ketchum. He also came with his friends Sid and Rebecca, who wanted to see the Battle Tower as well. When he and Sid participated at the Battle Tower their first match was against Ash and Tory Lund, and he and Sid won gracefully due to Tory's inexperience with Pokémon. But when Deoxys strikes Rafe along with his friends and Ash's group must fend off the numerous Deoxys clones that have been unleashed into the city. After Deoxys took control of the city Rafe and the others hid in Professor Lund's lab until things settled down but eventually they were dicovered by Deoxys' clones who began to tear apart the walls. But with the help of Rafe's Blaziken and Ash's Pikachu they were able to hold them back and give them enough time to escape. Later on when the battle between Rayquaza and Deoxys began Rafe and the others used their Pokémon to restore energy to the city so they could regenarate the body of the other Deoxys.

Trivia

Rafe's design is based on the Cooltrainer Trainer Class' Ruby and Sapphire design. The main change is his clothes' colors.
