Trivia

  • The character illustration is the same used on the Japanese Toyota promotional Pikachu.
  • The English version has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie".

Origin

Recharge's Japanese name is that of Charge, a move in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn as a Pichu via breeding. Thunderbolt is a move in the Pokémon games that Pikachu can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, though it is slightly reworded.
