=Synopsis=
==Plot==
An injured girl is attacked by an enraged Gyarados, seeing how her Staryu defends her Red decides to help with his Bulbasaur. Thanks to the type advantage Gyarado's {{m|Hydro Pump}} didn't hurt the grass Pokémon and with its {{m|Vine Whip}} and Staryu's {{m|BubbleBeam}} Red catches the beast. Wondering why a water Pokémon could be in that area, the girl tells him that the Gyarados is hers, that somebody stole it and that furious wasn't it original nature, those people must have done something to it. Both call to [[Professor Oak]] from the [[Pokémon Center]] to listen his opinion; he thinks that that atrocity was work of [[Team Rocket]], an evil organization that uses Pokémon as experiments, he also says that a rare stone that boost Pokémon's powers immensely, a [[Moon Stone]], has been found in [[Mt. Moon]] and that this team is after it. Searching the justice, Red and the recently introduced Misty, a water Pokémon trainer from Cerulean City, make their way to Mt. Moon.

Red decides to counterattack with {{m|Leech Seed}}, leaving Gyarados even angrier as thick vines grow around its body. The girl takes the opportunity to command her Staryu to {{m|Recover}}, leaving it fully healed just as Gyarados breaks free of Saur's attack. The girl and Red decide to team up to take on Gyarados, with her calling out {{m|Bubble Beam}}, and Red calling out {{m|Vine Whip}}. Red follows up on the two simultaneous attacks with a [[Poké Ball]], successfully capturing the Gyarados.

They take a breather as the girl thanks him, Red taking the opportunity to introduce himself again, and expresses surprise at seeing such a big Pokémon in a place like this. The girl explains that since Gyarados is a {{type|Water}}, it's not supposed to live in these kinds of habitats, elaborating that it was actually her Pokémon, being trained until a week prior when someone had stolen it. When it came back, it was enraged, leaving her to try and track it through the trail of destruction being left in its wake.
 
Red concludes that Gyarados must have been rampaging because of the actions of whoever stole it, and, feeling a sense of justice, commits to getting back at them. Realizing he has no idea where he's going, he asks the girl, who also has no idea where the thieves would be. Red decides to find out if {{adv|Professor Oak}} knows anything, so they both head to the [[Pokémon Center]] to give him a call.

Gyarados Splashes In! (Japanese: VS ギャラドス VS Gyarados) is the sixth chapter of the Pokémon Adventures manga.

An injured girl is being attacked by an enraged Gyarados, with her Staryu defending her. Staryu takes the full force of Gyarados's attack, falling to the ground, nearly fainted, as Red appears, eager to help.
